I wasn't expecting the advanced copies of Garlic Feast until late this week so imagine my surprise when I received a phone call on Monday from the transport company to say they had arrived in Hobart early ... and well in time for this Saturday's Koonya Garlic Festival where it will be previewed!
I was so nervous (first book jitters) with my husband Paul over a glass of bubbles and when I saw the result was just astounded. I could not believe how beautiful the book looked - gorgeous enough to eat! I still can't believe its mine. But then I can't really claim all of the credit because an awful lot of amazing and talented chefs and passionate foodies, gourmet producers, garlic lovers and growers have been involved in helping to make this cookbook possible ... I will never be able to thank them enough:-)
